For better or worse (worse), “30 Rock” actor Alec cheap hermes bags Baldwin will soon be a television host on MSNBC, according to an exclusive report from Mediaite. The inspiring story of Kabang, the “hero dog of Zamboanga,” has been practically begging for dramatization on TV. After all, the askal mutt’s brave act of jumping in front of a speeding motorcab to save her master’s daughter from injury or even death rated media coverage not just locally but also internationally.
So, we weren’t surprised when GMA’s “Magpakailanman” recently telecast its dramatic recreation of the heroic act and its aftermath.
However, the docu-drama revealed some minus points inherently related to the otherwise worthy enterprise, which made it more difficult than usual for the production to come off well. → Read More
He might have left his torch at home but that didn’t stop Justin Bieber from landing a massive kiss on a pretty brunette.
The snogging-selfie of Justin and his tour companion Ariana Grande will no doubt rile his on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez.
And it appears the pop nuisance is already meeting the family after spending time with Ariana’s grandmother.

OK, this is too easy, saying the Los Angeles Dodgers are headed to the World Series. The Dodgers are in the middle of their best 42-game stretch in 60 years. Of course they appear headed to the World Series.
So much can happen in the final seven weeks of the regular season. Anything can happen in the postseason. But tell me: Which National League team would you pick, right now, to beat the Dodgers in a best-of-five Division Series or best-of-seven NLCS?
My leading candidate, believe it or not, would be the Pittsburgh Pirates, but more on that in a moment. The Dodgers, who host the Tampa Bay Rays this weekend (Retro Jordan shoes), are on one of the more spectacular rolls in recent memory — and that’s with center fielder Matt Kemp, the runner-up in the 2011 MVP balloting — appearing in only 11 of these fabulous 42 games. → Read More

With “We’re the Millers,” you know exactly what you’re going to get before you enter the theater. It’s a road trip comedy with a cast of mismatched characters racing to get to the finish line. We just about saw this very same movie earlier this summer with “Identity Thief,” which was a funnier film and had the benefit of Melissa McCarthy’s wonderful performance. But “We’re the Millers” has more than enough funny moments to keep it from becoming stale and Jason Sudeikis’s extremely likeable persona makes for a welcome comedic leading role. → Read More
